Dubai: Houthi militias suffered heavy losses on Sunday as the Yemeni army advanced in Al-Bayda province.
At least 36 Houthi fighters were killed and another 50 were wounded in battles in Malagm district.
A Yemeni military source said in an Armed Forces Media Center statement that fierce fighting had taken place in a mountain range in the area.
The army was supported by Saudi-led Arab coalition air strikes.
